Hello, and welcome to my web site.
I'm Stephen Mitchell, a Computer Science graduate from Sunderland.
I originally set up this website in early 2008 whilst I was looking for an industrial placement as part of my course at Northumbria University. I intended it to be a fun and practical way to learn more about HTML and CSS (and have the bragging rights of owning my own domain!) and also to serve as a source of up-to-date information for potential employers.
During my final year of university, the site began looking very neglected. Now that I've graduated and am once again looking for a job, I've taken the opportunity to redesign it and bring all the information on it up to date. I'm hoping to expand it further in the future to include examples of my programming work and other projects, so watch this space!
